On Saturday 21st April many of our children entered the Irish Feis in Newcastle. They participated in poetry, conversation, storytelling, dialogue and history competitions. The children did really well and won numerous medals and because of their great success won Sciath na nOg for the Primary School with the best overall performance. The entire school is very proud of the children and their achievements. Six pupils also won scholarships to the Gaeltacht in Donegal and they will spend a week there in July perfecting their spoken Irish.
