This morning, our school celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a vibrant and delightful mix of the life of St Patrick, poetry, music and dance.
The children in Primary 7 led this assembly and explained how St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, is celebrated for bringing Christianity to the country and how the day has evolved into a global celebration of Irish culture. They impressed us all with their Irish language and singing.
Our newly formed school Bodhran club showcased their new found skills and our traditional group played us a beautiful Irish tune.
To finish off, we had some wonderful dancers.
