🎃 Spectacularly Spooky Slime 🎃
The children in P2 became scientists this morning creating lots of messy fun. We even managed to make the most gruesome slime needed at this time of year. We used three simple ingredients; cornflour, water and a dash of food colouring.
We put our flour into a bowl, and when we added our water to the mixture. It was easy to stir to begin with but as we tried to get to the bottom of the bowl it became impossible with a spoon, so we changed tactics and used our hands. We discovered that the mixture acted like a solid because we could pick it up with our hands and a liquid because it soon poured through our fingers but it is actually neither. It was a non-Newtonian fluid. WOW!
