£200 Raised for Marie Curie
Huge congratulations and thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets and sweets at our Spring Concert, last night. You managed to raise a fantastic £200 for Marie Curie. This fantastic charity provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families.
Phil Kane from Marie Curie visited our school today and spoke to the children about the great work that they carry out. Every child in the school planted a daffodil bulb in support of Marie Curie and Phil kindly presented us with a plaque to mark what we now call "The Field of Hope". Thank you to Barney and Liz who led this project as this was previously an area in the school that was under used and now it has become one of such beauty.
