As part of our Space topic, we have been learning about how large rockets work by throwing away material quickly from the bottom. 🚀
We designed rockets using a straw, paper, card and tape.
To blast our rockets we had to blow into the straw and because we had sealed the top of the rockets the air had no way of escaping.
As a result, the trapped air pushed the rocket off the straw causing it to fly up into the air!!
