Today was an incredibly special day at St. Colman’s as we came together to celebrate our wonderful, kind and loving principal, Mrs. White, on her 60th birthday!
We surprised Mrs. White with a whole school assembly filled with joy and laughter. The celebrations began with a beautiful cake and a rendition of ‘Lá Breithe sona Mrs White’ from all the children and staff.
Jenson Morris did a wonderful job delivering a presentation to the whole school, capturing just how much Mrs. White means to us all.
The choir and traditional music group gave a memorable performance of “The Star of the County Down,” but with a special twist — we changed the words to “The Star of St. Colman’s School,” all about Mrs. White!
A truly magical moment followed when Christian Morris mesmerised the entire school with a stunning performance of “Danny Boy” on the harp. The hall was so captivated that you could have heard a pin drop!
Every class created a special card for Mrs. White, making sure she felt extra loved and appreciated on her milestone birthday.
We are so incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated and caring principal leading our school. Thank you, Mrs. White, for everything you do for us. We hope you have a wonderful weekend filled with happiness and love.
