Primary One and Primary Two children had a wonderful Forest School today.
We even had a witch join us!
She read us ‘Room on the Broom’ by Julia Donaldson.
There is a green bird in the story. We talked about birds that live or come to visit our country. We even had a robin call out to us 😊
We found some lovely autumn treasures to put in the cauldron 🍂
Then we made a potion with mermaid’s tears from Kilkeel harbour, toads’ eyeballs and toads’ toenails ground up into dust for our spell.
Ronan’s spell was ‘Abracadabra hopitty boom!’
