What a Seachtain na Gaeilge St. Colman’s had!⭐️
We spent the week enjoying, celebrating and learning all about our Irish Culture and Language ☘️
Some of the activities we got up to included:
📖 Reading about lots of Irish myths and legends
🥕 Cooking a homemade Irish stew
🍞 Preparing and sampling potato bread and soda bread
🏑Enjoying camogie, hurling and Gaelic football sessions
☘️ Forest school activities with an Irish twist
🐑 Learning nursery rhymes and poems in Irish

🎶 Seisiún Ceol- Traditional music

We finished celebrations by awarding “Gaeilgeoir na Seachtaine” to those who made an extra effort with Irish this week.
