Our Christmas Concert this year has involved all the children from P1, P2, P3 and P4 and the school choir. We have had two performances, which have delighted the family and friends of our children at the matinee yesterday and the invited guests this morning. The concert showcases the amazing talents of our children. The stage comes alight with their sheer enjoyment, happiness, excitement and confidence.
The programme has a variety of entertainment for all ages. The little children from P1, who have only been with us for almost one term, entranced the audiences with their rendition of 'Away in a Manger' and 'Christmas Shark'. Their colourful costumes, cheerful singing and spontaneous actions received rapturous applause and laughter. The children from P2 also captured the audiences when they sang 'Little Donkey' and 'Up on the Housetop'. They accompanied their songs using percussion instruments which the children and the audiences thoroughly enjoyed. Some children from P4 recited a poem called 'Prepare, prepare'. The Christmas Play this year is called 'Angel Express'. It has been a great choice as it has given the children from P3 and P4 a wonderful opportunity to showcase their singing, narration and acting. Our school choir sang two carols which captured the spirit of Christmas for everyone.
