Getting ready for going back to school
The children from P1 - 3 return back to school on Monday 8th March for two weeks. The guidelines that have been given to schools from the Department of Education and NI Executive outline that after these two weeks in school the children will then return to home learning again until 1st April when the school will close for Easter. These children from P1 - P3 will then return to school after the Easter holidays on Tuesday 13th April. There has been no date given yet for the children from P4 - P7.
It is good to know that preparations are well underway at home and at school for the children from P1 - P3 to come back to school. Some of the children are very excited whilst some are a little frightened or sad. It has been a long time for our youngest children to have been away from school. We ask you to take some time over the next few days to reassure your child.
The attached flyer from RISE NI may help you in your preparations.
