Well done P5. The class recently took part in a very enjoyable beach clean along with Seascope Lobster Hatchery Kilkeel. On Wednesday 23rd of March at 1.30pm the class walked down to Kilkeel beach. Here they were kitted up with viz jackets, gloves, pickers and bags before beginning. All the class worked hard but a special mention must go to Ciaran and Erikas who collected 6 bags of rubbish. Mrs.Rogers and Miss L.Cunningham accompanied the class for the afternoon and the vice chairperson of our council came along to give us support. Afterwards we received some 'goodies' from the Seascope team and before returning to school the class had 20 minutes to relax at the play park.
