For the last two weeks in school, the P1 children have been learning about the two rhymes ‘Sing a Song of Sixpence’ and ‘Pat a Cake’. We thought this was the perfect opportunity to do some baking with the children and make a yummy apple pie! Every child had the opportunity to get involved in the mixing, patting, rolling and pricking of the pie! It tasted delicious!
