The Primary Seven children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about 3D shapes this week. The children learned about the properties of some new 3D shapes such as hexagonal prisms, octahedrons and tetrahedrons to name a few. They also were involved in a 3D shape investigation where by the children worked in pairs to construct their own 3D shapes. In pairs the children then had to identify how many edges, parallel edges, perpendicular edges and faces each shape had.
