The theme of our End of Year Mass was 'Celebrate and Thank you'. The entire school community came together to celebrate the achievements and contributions of the children in P7 who are moving on. The beautiful Mass was arranged by Mrs White and staff. Many family and friends joined us together with many parishioners and governors.
Special presentations were made to all the children to mark this important day in the lives of these young children. The children were praised and thanked for all they had contributed to the life of St Colman's. Fr Dillon bestowed a special blessing on this wonderful class of girls and boys.
The children took this opportunity to say thank you to three teachers who are leaving at the end of June - Mrs McLoughlin, Mrs McPolin and Ms O'Hagan. As a token of their appreciation the children presented the teachers with gifts, cards and flowers. The school community wish these three special teachers good health and happiness in the years ahead.
After Mass there were lots of photographs taken and the children enjoyed treats with their friends.
This was indeed a very moving ceremony with lots of memories to cherish.
