Fireman visits P. 5

Derek, a fire officer from the Kilkeel station, came into our school recently to give P.5 a very useful and informative talk. He was with P.5 for an hour and answered many questions and concerns they had. Before leaving he gave every child present, a 'Home Safety' pack full of games, stickers and useful information. He also invited the class to visit the local fire station later in the year. He said the class were very attentive and interested in what he had to say. The class were to make sure their houses all had WORKING SMOKE ALARMS .
