Primary 3 were very fortunate to take part in a STEM workshop today about flight.
George and Glen from, ‘Go Fly Your Kite’ taught the children about the history of flight before demonstrating how to make a kite of their own.
The children were very enthusiastic and give excellent answers and ideas during the discussion.
The children then traced images on to their kites using permanent marker to make each kite unique in design. Finally we took the kites outside to test their aerodynamics!
This was an informative and fun workshop which the class throughly enjoyed.
