In Literacy this week the children learned about playscripts. They completed some activities on the format and structure of playscripts and then had the opportunity to write their own playscript based on the Irish Myth of Cúchulainn. The children were then organised into groups to practice and act out the story of Cúhulainn in front of their peers. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this activity as it was a chance for the children to socialise and work closely with their friends again. The children in P7 are extremely happy to be back at school and their return to school has been vitally important for everyone's well-being. Our Literacy lessons this week tied in well with St Colman's Well-Being Week.
