Maths Week in Primary 2

During the week, the children were working together in groups to measure things using hand spans and strides.
The children didn’t take long to realise that these were not great for measuring because 

“we got different answers” and 

“our hands and steps are all different sizes”.

We finished the week measuring using rulers to measure in centimetres. ☺️
Much more accurate!
