As part of our World Around Us topic of space, P4/5 were using Oreos to represent the different phases of the moon. We learnt that at various times of the month the moon looks different, this is because as the moon rotates round the Earth, the sun lights up different parts of it 🌞🌖🌔🌗🌑
The pupils also enjoyed getting to eat the Oreos afterwards! 😂
