Primary 1 have been having lots of fun at Outdoor Learning. There are lots of opportunities to learn outdoors - not all classrooms have four walls!
We have been:
Forming letters and numbers using twigs, leaves and stones.
Writing letters, words and numbers in the mud with sticks.
Making sets of 0-10 using twigs, grass, flowers, stones and leaves.
Working on our balance and coordination.
Learning about ‘the number after’ on our outdoor number line.
Talking about volume and capacity at the mud kitchen.
