P4 were treated to a truly wonderful afternoon with local author Declan Carville 🪄
We listened as Declan read a selection of his stories to us
🎶 We were transported to the town Middlemass while listening to “The Magic Harp”
☘️We joined Conor and Murphy on their journey to The Giant’s Causeway
💃 We learned the very important lesson: To never give up on your dreams through the story of Valentine the Irish Dancer
I think everyone agreed that our favourite story of the day was “A winter night in the Fairy Glen” P4 are sure to see the Fairy Glen in Rostrevor in a whole new light the next time they take a trip.
Thank you so much to Declan and the Amma centre for inspiring our class and awakening a lot of creativity in our class in one afternoon
