P4 had a great trip to Silent Valley today and the weather was really lovely. They had a fun and action packed day. Pat and Laura from Water NI told them about the building of the reservoir and they took them orienteering and on a scavenger hunt around Silent Valley. P4 had to search for mini-beasts and then look at them using magnifying glasses. Then they each made their own mini-beast. They went into the visitor centre and saw lots of artefacts and listened to recordings of people describing their experiences of building the reservoir. P4 had great fun playing in the play park in the warm sunshine. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and everyone arrived back to school tired but happy!
