Primary 5 had a great day visiting the beach and playing in the play park on the esplanade. The weather was brilliant. We played some games with the girls from Ulster Wildlife, and we learnt that in one year around the world 1 million birds die through pollution. Jenny from the Harbour authority explained how important it is to look after our beaches. We were even lucky enough to to get a visit from the Harbour Master Danielle Rooney. We finished off the day with an ice cream.🍦
