Today P5 did their assembly about Lent. They told everybody that Lent is a time when we can really connect with God and others and that lent is like a journey to get to know God better and to realise how much he loves us and that we should do something in return for it. P5 read prayers, sang hymns, said a poem, showed a PowerPoint and acted out the story about a little man called Zacchaeus who was a terrible sinner but realised the error of his ways and said sorry. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed P5s assembly and it gave them lots to think about.
