A digital book has been created for young children about the coronavirus and what has been done to keep it under control. This book will answer some questions that your child may have. You can download a copy by following this link:

This illustrator, Axel Scheffler, and the author, Julia Donaldson, have also created a 4 page children’s book featuring some of the children’s favourite characters: The Gruffalo, Stickman, The Smeds and The Smoos.
The characters show the children how to keep a safe distance from each other, how to keep fit while staying at home, how to keep in touch with their family and friends especially grandparents and how to help the vulnerable in their community. The 4 pages of this book are attached to this news item.
We think these books are a terrific way to help the children.
