Post Office Roleplay in P1
The P1 children are loving playing in the new Post Office role play area! The boys and girls can pretend to be post masters, shop keepers and customers. Role play is so important as it builds confidence, develops communication skills and encourages imaginative play. The children are extremely busy as this is the Post Office’s busiest time of the year coming up to Christmas!
The role play area has clothes to dress up, pretend money, magazines and newspapers to to buy as well as weighing scales, stamps, a post box, envelopes and vouchers. The children have sacks to deliver the cards and parcels as well as an area to wrap presents and make cards. The boys and girls are loving learning about the Post Office and are developing essential life skills.
