Primary 1 look for signs of Autumn!
The boys and girls in Primary 1 went for a walk today to look for signs of Autumn.
We had great fun collecting red, brown, yellow and orange leaves as well as pine cones, twigs and berries for our Autumn table. We learned that in Autumn the weather gets colder and the days get shorter. Some of us love to fly a kite in the wind! We also found out that mice love to eat the berries on the ground and squirrels are very greedy and eat lots of nuts!
We were very independent and took our own photographs on the iPad!
When we returned to the class, we used magnifying glasses to look closely at everything we found on our walk.
We also made sets of 1,2 and 3 using the items we collected as this week is Maths Week!
