Important information
29th Mar 2020
Dear parents and guardians,
As we begin another new week we hope and pray that you and your family are all well. We will continue to support you and your children as best as we can during this coming week. Before we start please read the following information carefully:
- Read again the newsletters dated 22nd March and 26th March which may answer some of your questions and remind you of some important points
- Some of you had made payments for a service before school closed, for example: Irish feis entries, DVDs, music tuition, ActiSport etc. If you have made a payment please be assured that this service will be honoured or payment reimbursed when school reopens
- If your family is in receipt of free school meals please click on this link for further information https://www.education-ni.gov.uk/news/ministers-take-action-relation-free-school-meals-payment-0
- Down GAA had distributed raffle tickets through the schools for a draw to be held on Friday 10th April. As yet no decision has been taken as to whether or not this draw will be held. When we receive notification of their decision we will let you know.
- Most families have been able to log on to access the home learning sites: Seesaw and Google classroom. If you are still experiencing difficulties please contact us by sending a private message through the school’s website or Facebook page. Someone will get back to you as soon as we can and help you.
- If you have decided to not log on and access the home learning please be assured that we fully support your decision in these unprecedented times. You can find lots of useful websites on the Parent Area of the school’s website that you may find useful.
- We have also received other beneficial links which you may want to have a look at even if you have logged on. Please click some of the links below and have a look.
