Talk on Litter and Recycling
This term P4 are learning about litter and the importance of recycling. Pat McShane and Carol from Newry and Mourne District Council visited our class today and showed us a PowerPoint about litter and the importance of recycling and keeping our beautiful countryside litter free. They also got us to sort litter into plastic, glass, paper and metal. They showed us a fleece jacket that had been made out of 25 coke bottles that had been recycled and they told us that the Real Madrid football kits were made out of recycled plastic. It was a very enjoyable and informative talk and P4 are really going to try hard to keep our school and environment litter free.
