The story of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" extended into our Numeracy work this week. The boys and girls were learning about simple patterns with two, three and four colours so we decided to have some fun and make patterned fruit kebabs. Some of us were very tempted to take a bite but we managed to complete our patterns in the nick of time before they were gobbled up!
We gathered information about our favourite fruits and displayed this information on a pictogram on RM Starting Graph. The children learned how to interpret and analyse the graph and were able to ask and answer lots of questions relating to it.
