We are reading newspaper stories in English this week.
We know the features of a good news story: a catchy title, a strap line, a lead sentence, short paragraphs, dramatic language, written in the past tense and in third person, interviews, information on time and place and written in order of importance.
We are also investigating different types of news stories.
It was fun reading all the news and discussing them together.
